📡 RYA VHF Radio (SRC) Course – North Wales Our school up to now 100% Pass Rate (May 2026) Course will take a place in our office where you will be able to do it online. One of our member of the Staff will be able to respond to your questions and assist you to better prepare you to the exam. After complete course examiner will be able to test your knowledge. The RYA Marine Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC) is the minimum legal qualification required to operate marine VHF radio equipment on UK flagged vessels. This includes both fixed and handheld radios, with or without Digital Selective Calling (DSC). At Raspberry Watersports, we offer professional RYA VHF radio training on the Menai Strait, Anglesey, designed to give you the confidence and knowledge to communicate safely and effectively at sea. ⚓ Course Overview The SRC course prepares you for the official RYA exam, carried out at an RYA Recognised Training Centre. Most candidates complete the course before taking the exam, which can often be arranged on the same day.
